How to reach Trakai
Lithuania has three international airports in Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga, however the Organising Committee will provide transport from Vilnius airport only. Should you wish to order transport from Kaunas international airport please contact Organizing Committee at email@example.com to get a transportation offer at a discounted price. Marine ferries connect the Klaipeda seaport with many Baltic seaports. The most popular routes are from: Sweden, Denmark, Poland and Germany. Lithuania boasts well-developed the roadsides, road restaurants, motels, etc. An extensive system of petrol stations is in place.
DIRECTIONS TO THE VENUE FROM VILNIUS AIRPORT
You may take a taxi directly to Trakai (distance 28 km) or take a train in front of Airport to reach Vilnius Train station. Train station and Vilnius Bus station is nearby, so you can choose a bus or train for your trip to Trakai. Traveling from Klaipeda port there is a free of charge highway. Follow the signs to Kaunas/Vilnius. On the way you will pass Kaunas, Elektrenai cities and in Vievis keep right when you see the Trakai signs. Follow the road for approximately 20 km. Galve Lake will welcome you on the city border this way!
